COAP re-enactors will bring the museum exhibits to life once again for our specialised time-travel imagery.
Our plans are to bring the following machines alive...
RAF Lightning F2A (nose section XN726), with pilot and ground technician (outside, weather permitting), which has one side in green camouflage in No 92 Squadron markings and the other in polished silver No 19 Squadron markings.
ETPS Hawk T1 XX154 (the prototype Hawk, in gloss black scheme), and ETPS Hawk T1(mod) XX343 (in Raspberry Ripple scheme) - both with crew.
Avro 707 AH1, WZ736 (with pilot and flight test engineer).
Bleriot Experimental BE2b (2783), replica, with pilot & navigator.
HS Nimrod prototype, XV148, nose section. This will have a full four-man flight crew & engineers in-flight with illuminated cockpit.
Approximate event times are 1430hrs - 2000hrs. We will confirm this directly with the joining instructions nearer the time.
Joining instructions & catering information to follow.
