We'll be arriving in Rome the day before the show, attending the show both days and departing the day after for the perfect mix of action & relaxation.
NOTE: This trip is for a small group only, but is also PERFECT for you to bring a partner - the boutique hotel in central Rome, plus great social evenings for a lovely weekend!
This will be a luxury long weekend, staying in single rooms in a boutique hotel in the heart of Rome. We will be traveling by luxury coach each day, including to and from the airport and to and from the show itself.
The actual timings are quite relaxed too, making this a perfect mix of action & relaxation. As I said in the initial blurb, it's also perfect to bring a partner if you so wished!
So onto the plan and the costings...
Friday 16th June: Rendezvous in Rome Fiumicino Airport late morning (your COAP Photo Manager, Steve Comber, will arrive around 1015hrs so a meeting point at 1100hrs in the arrivals hall will be set). We then travel in a luxury minivan into Central Rome for a great social evening, staying in a classy boutique hotel.
Saturday 17th June: We are collected from the hotel in a luxury minivan to travel for a full day at the Italian AF 100th Anniversary Airshow. This is held at the AMI test and evaluation airfield of Pratica di Mare and promises to be one of the highlights of the 2023 show calendar. After the show, we are then chauffeur-driven back to the Central Rome hotel for relaxed 'debriefing in the bar' and and another great social evening.
Sunday 18th June: A repeat of the above! Another full day at the the Italian AF 100th Anniversary Airshow... And ANOTHER great social evening! We made the deliberate decision to stay on another night. Travelling home late on a Sunday after a hot day's action, direct from the show, just isn't what this trip is about.
Monday 19th June: A relaxed departure to Rome Fiumicino Airport, with the coach returning us to the airport mid morning.
Cost: From £1195 (inc single room, boutique Central Rome hotel for three nights, four days transport as above, services of tour manager, all logistics, operating and taxes).
FLIGHTS
Your flights to/from Rome Fiumicino are not included. A quote from your location is available on request and gladly supplied. Please note that your timings must CLOSELY match the arrival and departure times of the group (currently 1015hrs arrival, 1320hrs departure).
CHARGES
Any charge for the airshow (unknown at this time, but expected to be free) is not included. Driver gratuities or other extra activities are not included. Travel Insurance is entirely your own responsibility.
