We return to RAF Wittering for another excellent daylight, sunset and night session with the Heritage Centre Harriers in various set-ups.
There will be four ex-RAF Harriers out on the classic RAF Wittering pan for photography in daylight, sunset and into the night - without and without re-enactors.
High quality food will also be provided within the ticket price (those who were there last year know of the quality we're talking about!).
We hope for a couple of little extras on the photography menu, too.
The fleet of the RAF Wittering Heritage Centre represent different eras of RAF Harrier operations and development.

The last event produced some stunning scenes...
IMPORTANT: RAF Wittering is undergoing a multi-year, large-scale redevelopment and maintenance programme. This has rendered a lot of the airfield inaccessible and unusable - including the wooded 'Hide' area of Vigo Woods. Accordingly, the aircraft will be positioned on the ramp area (same as last time), and the event length will be shorter, with less locations/scenes. We feel it is important to manage expectations with clear communications on these matters.
This will be an afternoon/evening event.
You will be given a strict, set arrival "window" at the main gate at RAF Wittering. This is likely to be between 1230 and 1300hrs (strictly no earlier!).
From there you will be escorted over the VAS section of RAF Wittering, where there is ample car parking.
There will be a briefing, the ops room will be open for rest/shelter, with catering provided on site (included in the ticket price) between 1500hrs and 1700hrs.
Event close will be after dark, around 1900.
Confirmation of the exact timings and full joining instructions to be sent nearer the time.
We are pleased to say that this event will be open to holders of UK and NATO-nation photo ID holders.
Once you have booked and paid for your ticket, we will be in direct communication with you to collate the necessary ID documentation for forwarding to the RAF Police & Security Departments. Please note this may take some time.
A return to the Yorkshire Air Museum for a dedicated night shoot.
