We are really excited that we can finally announce a rare chance to capture time-travel photography within the historically accurate WW2 ‘Ops Room’ for RAF Fighter Command at RAF Northolt, London.
RAF Northolt housed one of seven operations rooms within No. 11 Group. This facility has been authentically restored within the Sir Keith Park Building, where Phillip Dawe, the custodian and restoration team leader, will host us.
The event will start at 1200hrs following ID & security checks before entering RAF Northolt and close at 1700hrs.
Once assembled at the Sir Kenneth Park Building, the group of photographers will proceed in dedicated teams choreographed by COAP. From there, we will be able to capture unique time-travel re-enactment scenes from 1939-1940 within the Operations Room. Shoots outside the building, including period vehicles, will also be conducted.
This opportunity has taken a long time to plan; the limited space available within the ‘Ops Room’ dictates a maximum of 20 photographers (and no tripods).
Tickets will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the strict numbers and security checks, they are non-refundable if you are unable to attend for any reason.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to capture ‘Battle of Britain’ Operations Room images at this unique location!
We look forward to sharing our passion in the ‘Relentless Pursuit of Aviation’ in August.
