Join COAP for a different kind of aviation trip — a flexible “join-in” package built around giving you maximum freedom whilst taking care of the one thing that really matters… the access.
This is the ideal option for enthusiasts who want to experience one of Europe’s premier military aviation events, but do it their own way and to their own budget.
How does it work?
Simple. You arrange your own travel and accommodation however suits you best. Drive from the UK and take the ferry, travel across from elsewhere in Europe, or even build the weekend into a longer holiday. Stay in a hotel, rent a lodge, use a local campsite, split costs with friends — the choice is entirely yours.
COAP supplies the key element: your complete Spotters Package ticket set, covering:
- Friday Spotters Day
- Saturday Airshow
- Sunday Airshow
Across three full days at Florennes Air Base, you’ll experience every side of the event, from aircraft arrivals and ground activity through to full flying displays and fast-jet action overhead. It’s a superb mix of operational photography, close-up access, and dynamic airshow flying.
The real jewel in the crown is Friday’s dedicated Spotters Day on June 26th. With limited attendance and access designed specifically for enthusiasts and photographers, it offers a noticeably better environment than standard public airshow days. More space, clearer sightlines, closer aircraft positioning, and far greater opportunities to capture taxi shots, ground crew activity, and those harder-to-get operational moments.
Then over the weekend, the event shifts into full public flying display mode, with an impressive mix of military aircraft and high-energy display sequences throughout both days.
We know that fully escorted tours are not always practical for every event, and that people want the freedom to manage costs in a way that works for them. This package is designed around exactly that idea. Share fuel and ferry costs with friends, camp near the base, choose budget accommodation or make a full weekend break of it. You stay in complete control of the overall cost whilst still having the essential tickets and access already organised for you.
A highly flexible, cost-effective way to experience one of Europe’s leading military aviation weekends, all without the stress of trying to secure the tickets yourself.
