COAP are pleased to announce our much-anticipated welcomed return to RAF Wittering supporting the Heritage Centre Collection of Harriers.

Those of you that have attended previous shoots with the Harriers will no doubt appreciate opportunities like this are not to be missed. As such we plan to deliver different imagery from previous photo shoots once again with the Four Harriers of the Heritage Centre collection. The fleet of the RAF Wittering Heritage Centre represents different eras of RAF Harrier operations and development, so this really is a unique opportunity.

RAF Wittering is rarely accessible and following recent base upgrades some previous photo opportunities are not possible; this offers us an opportunity to return back to the ‘Vigo Woods’ area this time around with all 4 Harriers set in scenarios both with and without re-enactors.

The Harriers from the collection being used for the photoshoot will include P1127 XV279 ‘Kestrel’, Harrier GR3 XV779, Harrier T4 XZ146 & Harrier GR7 ZD318.

We plan to shoot the Harriers - Kestrel, GR3, T4 & GR7 some set together ands some separately, all with and without RAF Aircrew re-enactors throughout the course of the afternoon & evening in the ‘Vigo Woods’ Hides and Hard Surface Landing Area. All complimented by period RAF vehicles and an FARP Refuelling Tanker.

There will be fixed position steps to allow elevated views and imagery capture at the Hard Surface Landing Area with the GR7.

It is planned that GR3 XV779 previously displayed in temporary snow camouflage will be returned to grey/green camouflage and be set together with T4XZ146 in the Hides.

With Autumn light fading particular attention will focus on the ‘Blue Hour’ and sunset periods and will be enhanced by COAP external & internal lighting throughout the course of the evening.

This photo shoot promises to be one of many highlights in the COAP 2025 Winter Calendar, the number of photographers will be limited so please book early to avoid disappointment, we look forward to seeing you on the day.

Ticket Cost £ 100.00
