As part of the 100th Anniversary of the Swedish Air Force, COAP is delighted to offer an exclusive after-hours photography session at Vasteras Flygmuseum, providing rare access to a fascinating collection of former Swedish Air Force aircraft.

This special evening has been arranged exclusively for photographers and is expected to run between approximately 1700 and 2100 (final timings to be confirmed).

Unlike a normal museum visit, the session will allow a small group of photographers unrestricted access to a selection of former Swedish Air Force fighters positioned outside the museum hangar, providing excellent opportunities to capture these historic aircraft without members of the public in the background.

The museum's collection represents several generations of Swedish aviation history, with classic Saab aircraft that helped protect Sweden's neutrality throughout the Cold War and beyond. These aircraft are rarely available for dedicated photography sessions, making this a particularly attractive opportunity for aviation enthusiasts.

Working alongside the museum team, we are also exploring the possibility of creating authentic operational-style scenes around selected aircraft. While these arrangements are still being finalised, they could include carefully staged settings designed to recreate the atmosphere of a Swedish Air Force dispersal, adding even greater photographic interest to the evening.

With attendance expected to be limited to around 20–30 photographers, the event promises a relaxed environment with plenty of space to work around each aircraft and create your own compositions.

Whether you are travelling with COAP on our Swedish Air Force 100th Anniversary tour or simply joining us for this standalone evening event, this is a rare opportunity to photograph some of Sweden's iconic military aircraft under exclusive conditions.

Places are expected to be limited, and early booking is recommended.
