Photography and video have never been closer together.

Today's cameras are capable of producing stunning cinematic footage, yet many photographers never make the leap into video because they simply don't know where to start.

From Stills to Motion has been created specifically for photographers who want to understand video properly. Whether you've never recorded a clip before or have experimented with filming but would like to improve your results, this workshop will give you the confidence, knowledge and practical experience to take the next step.

Delivered by Tom Dalt of COAP Online as well as video experts from Sony, the workshop combines classroom learning with practical shooting before bringing everything together during a live online editing session.

Rather than simply talking about video, you'll learn how to plan your shots, understand camera settings, capture clean audio, work with movement, tell a story and edit your footage into a polished sequence.

The afternoon provides the perfect opportunity to put these new skills into practice at Sywell Aerodrome's popular Pistons & Props event, photographing and filming historic aircraft, classic vehicles and the atmosphere of a busy aviation event with experienced instructors on hand to offer guidance.

Following the workshop, everyone attending Day One will also receive complimentary access to an online group editing session, where you'll learn how your footage is transformed into a finished film using both Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve.

Whether your goal is to produce better travel videos, aviation films, social media content or simply unlock another creative side of your camera, this workshop offers an ideal introduction in a relaxed and supportive environment.

With only 10 places available, the day is designed to remain informal, interactive and highly practical.
