Our friends at Time Line Events (TLE) are returning to Shropshire in late January 2027 for a Winter shoot with the only privately owned GR3 Harrier that is still 'Live' in the UK.
Great cameos and action is guaranteed with the Millighton Engineering owned GR3 Harrier, yes the one that has only been seen a handful of times including our three previous photoshoots. This now privately owned ex military Jump Jet is nestled in Shropshire, and will be put on show for our photographic pleasure! This is the only running ex military Harrier in the UK, and we are very pleased that this event will help support the future costs of its maintenance by its owner who is dedicated to keeping her a live aircraft.
This visit will concentrate on the personnel that would off once been seen up an down the land at every RAF Base that had Harriers stationed on them, not to mention the many that were stationed in Europe.
There will be a good number professional RAF personnel re-enactors who will be our focus during the afternoon, reliving everyday scenes that were once the norm. Of course these authentic scenes wouldn't be anything without the star of the show, the Millington GR3 Harrier which will be seen inside and outside her dedicated Hangar to offer countless image opportunities throughout the session.
We will also have plenty of time to capture the aircraft alone and free of Re-Enactors as all you love these images as well!
As the evening draws in we will provide some special effects and lighting inside the hanger as we know many of you love it and it will finish our evening nicely. This promises to be a fantastic photography event which will offer a vast variety of image opportunities, as well as getting you up and close and personal with a fantastic example of aviation history!
Money raised from previous TLE visits have paid for a new Concrete Apron immediately outside the Hangar so this will be a great opportunity for us to use the it, so we are super excited to be visiting and seeing what difference our events have made.
Our day will begin in the late afternoon- approx 13:00 and we will be running into the evening finishing up at approx 19:00. This will allow us to take full advantage of the ever changing light and indeed the evening twilight.
Spaces are limited so we expect this event to be popular so we advise booking early to avoid disappointment

This Harrier did its first flight in 1971 at Dunsfold, and performed various exercised including 'Cold winter 80' in Norway. Since she has appeared in various air shows around the country before being sold privateley in 2013.
Frontline RAF Service (1971–1990): Delivered as a GR.1 in 1971, XV808 served with No. 4, No. 20, and No. 3 Squadrons in Germany, undergoing upgrades to the GR.3 standard. In the late 1980s, it became a crowd favourite as the official RAF Harrier solo display airframe at major public airshows.
Ground Training Role (1990–2012): Following its final flight in 1990, it was retired from active service. It spent over two decades as a ground instructional airframe, first training RAF mechanics at RAF Halton and later teaching Royal Navy flight deck crews at RNAS Culdrose and HMS Sultan.
Restoration & Rebirth (2012–Present): Acquired by Roy and Julian Millington in 2012, the aircraft was moved to Shropshire. Following a meticulous two-year restoration by engineers and ex-RAF personnel, its Rolls-Royce Pegasus engine was fired up in 2014. It is now the world's only fully operational, ground-taxiable Harrier GR3.
