Postponed for 2025 due to a busy programme, around 2025 being the 50th Anniversary of the Sally B's arrival in the UK. This has now been pencilled in for spring 2026.
The team is now working towards this event and developing another comprehensive living history USAAF photo shoot!
It will feature Europe's sole airworthy B-17 Flying Fortress with a complete age-appropriate aircrew (all professional actors), ground crew and vehicles, with multiple scenes... Plus very special air-to-air flights. It' promises to be an amazing event.
Each day is sold separately.

This very special photo shoot with Europe's only B-17 Flying Fortress 'Sally B' will perfectly complement the previous 2022 'Greatest Shoot', which proved to be an incredible, breathtaking event.
We will have 10-13 x pro actors all aged 18-25 (aircrew, ground, ATA/WASPS), each with three dress/uniform changes, multiple vehicles and two different “aircraft” (left and right), hair & make-up artists, plus air-to-airs going on over TWO days…
The event will be held at North Weald, Essex, over a Saturday & Sunday (exact dates and timings and joining instructions to follow).
The aircraft is the world famous 'Sally B' and she will be positioned on a dedicated area with the living history scenes around her. It will be a different set-up to last year in terms of the 'phase of the mission', with different uniforms and maintenance being undertaken.
One side of the aircraft features 'Sally B' noseart and the other has 'Memphis Belle' and such is the accuracy of this shoot that each side of the aircraft will have the whole day dedicated to it.
Both days will be different and both will have 10 x aircrew (average age 23, all having starred in an upcoming Spielberg B-17-based film) and 3 x groundcrew, plus female operatives (ATA & WASP), as well as vehicles and the finest clothing & flight kit you could ever hope for.
