The ultimate immersion in history this summer!
We are delighted to be working in partnership with Aero Legends on this exclusive programme of flight &photography experiences in the UK and France, during the “D-Day 80 Heroes Remembered” celebrations.
There will be three exclusive, professionally choreographed ground shoots, dedicated to photography run by COAP Wings in partnership with Aero Legends, to bring the D-Day 80 Heroes Remembered aircraft to life at North Weald!
Each event offers something different, and each one is concentrated on capturing photography that commemorates this historic 80th Anniversary.
Our third exclusive re-enactment photoshoot will feature the incredible B-17G Flying Fortress 'Sally B’. This will be a daylight time travel photo shoot featuring USAAF re-enactors with C-47s as a backdrop setting to the 'airfield' scene.
Friday 31st May, all timings provisional, more details to follow.
Shoot start: 1400hrs
Shoot finish: 1700hrs
This is the Friday 31st page, which will be a shoot featuring B-17G 'Sally B' and re-enactors/living history bringing the scene to life, with C-47s in the background.
The other two shoots are Wednesday 29th (Aircraft, with no people and as clear as possible with intended engine runs) and Thursday 30th (Scenes, with re-enactors).
