The ultimate immersion in history this summer!
We are delighted to be working in partnership with Aero Legends on this exclusive programme of flight & photography experiences in the UK and France, during the “D-Day 80 Heroes Remembered” celebrations.
There will be three exclusive, professionally choreographed ground shoots, dedicated to photography run by COAP Wings in partnership with Aero Legends, to bring the D-Day80 Heroes Remembered aircraft to life at North Weald!
Each event offers something different, and each one is concentrated on capturing photography that commemorates this historic 80th Anniversary.
The second evening event will feature time travel living history scenes, capturing the essence of this historic event. This will include re-enactors, vehicles & aircraft on static display in the background to complete the scene.
This event, hosted by Aero Legends and delivered by COAP Wings at North Weald, will commence at 1800hrs and finish at 2200hrs after the ‘Blue Hour’.

This is the Thursday 30th page, which will be a chance to capture the scenes of D-Day with re-enactors and living history participation.
The other two shoots are Wednesday 29th (Aircraft, with no re-enactors and as clear as possible) and Friday 31st (Allies, with B-17 'Sally B').
Aircraft participation subject to operational and weather caveats.
