The Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum is set in beautiful countryside and we can’t wait to bring this great collection to life!
As is the COAP way, the social side is just as important - so we start the shoot with a beer & lunch at the Buck Inn overlooking the museum grounds. The shoot then starts at 1500hrs after the all-important briefing.
The main subjects will have re-enactors in dedicated scenarios to bring the museum exhibits alive - it's not just about the aircraft as we aim to bring historic scenes back to life once more.
There’s quite a list of subjects, with great variety! Here we go…
USAF
North American F-100D Super Sabre (1956, 54-2196)
Lockheed T-33A (1956, 55-4433)
RAF & RN
Westland Whirlwind HAR10 (1963, XR485)
Bristol Bloodhound MKII (RUS104, 1987, complete with troops/RAF technicians)
Hawker Hunter FGA9 (1956, XG254, No 54 Squadron) newly repainted, in a cameo role with pilot.
Gloster Javelin FAW9R (1958, XH892), TBC.
Set cameo scenarios inside the hangar with a No 56 Squadron Lightning cockpit (1964, XP743), RAF Folland Gnat (1965), and possibly the EE Lighting DB.F1, (1959, XG329, prototype - tbc).
Of course, the rest of the museum is open too and the other exhibits await your attention! Check it all out here… https://www.aviationmuseum.net
